    Where It All Started
I started with KPMG as a senior associate in the Transfer Pricing practice, in the New York office. And then from there on, I moved a little bit to Short Hills, NJ for about a year, having the opportunity to work with a couple of different clients in the NJ area, primarily telecom, pharma, and consumer electronic type companies. Almost a decade later, I still work on many of the same accounts, because of the relationships I formed there.

    A Vibrant Work Location
I came back to New York and have been based there since. New York has the excitement of having such a diverse, different client base. I got promoted to manager, and stayed in New York for a while.

    Promotion to Sr. Manager
At this point, I became a senior manager. I did a one year rotation in the Vice Chairman's office of Tax, which was a great experience that gave me a whole new insight into what KPMG was all about, what happens behind the scenes - and how important all the various different aspects of KPMG really are, how the machine really works, etc...

    Re-integration
I came back to the Economic Valuation Services practice, integrating back into client service delivery, picking up my old clients. It was just a very fortunate set of circumstances that allowed me to integrate back in quite smoothly. The following year, I got promoted to managing director.
