This year, more than 350 companies vied for placement on this highly competitive list.

  • FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For ® (2008)

    FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For® — The list is put together by the Great Place to Work Institute in San Francisco, California, which surveyed a random sample of partners and employees. Each company was also asked to fill out a questionnaire describing its human resources policies and workplace culture. Two-thirds of each company's score came from partner and employee responses, and the other third was based on the company's benefits and practices.

    Diversity Edge magazine's 2008 Best Companies for Diverse Graduates — KPMG has been recognized by Diversity Edge magazine as one of the Top Three organizations in its list of 2008 Best Companies for Diverse Graduates. KPMG, the only Big Four to make the list, came in third behind Merrill Lynch and Microsoft, which were 1 and 2, respectively. According to Diversity Edge, the list recognizes organizations that have shown leadership in recruiting, retaining, and advancing the careers of diverse professionals.
