Knowledge sharing

KPMG provides all of it's our people access to the firm's global resources through a knowledge sharing environment called KWorld.

A robust and constantly enhanced Intranet environment, KWorld offers both a vast information pool and a custom-tailored information delivery system. KWorld allows employees to search all of KPMG but it also provides practice-specific home pages that gives them immediate access to the specific tools and content relevant to their daily work.

KWorld leverages the firm's collective thinking — across practices, services, and continents — by providing access to:

  • The knowledge and experience of firm leaders in the form of presentations, white papers, "best practice" proposals, articles and other intellectual capital.
  • The news and research tools they need including OneSource, LexisNexis, Standard & Poor's, Bloomberg and other key sources.
  • The information and technical tools they need to serve their clients: proprietary applications, methodologies, professional practice guidance and other firm standard documents and applications.
  • The process tools they need to do their job: time reporting, human resources, travel services and other KPMG internal Web sites.
