KPMG provides all of it's our people access to the firm's global resources through a knowledge sharing environment called KWorld.
A robust and constantly enhanced Intranet environment, KWorld offers both a vast information pool and a custom-tailored information delivery system. KWorld allows employees to search all of KPMG but it also provides practice-specific home pages that gives them immediate access to the specific tools and content relevant to their daily work.
KWorld leverages the firm's collective thinking across practices, services, and continents by providing access to:
- The knowledge and experience of firm leaders in the form of presentations, white papers, "best practice" proposals, articles and other intellectual capital.
- The news and research tools they need including OneSource, LexisNexis, Standard & Poor's, Bloomberg and other key sources.
- The information and technical tools they need to serve their clients: proprietary applications, methodologies, professional practice guidance and other firm standard documents and applications.
- The process tools they need to do their job: time reporting, human resources, travel services and other KPMG internal Web sites.
